HOW I GOT HERE
HOW I TRAIN
Basketball has always been a passion of mine. I turned that into a way to help others who share that same passion with me.
Hi, my name is Micah Cook and I am the founder and head trainer of Cook Basketball Training. I graduated from Ada high school in the spring of 2021 after playing four years of high school basketball there. Just two months after graduating high school I accepted my first coaching job at USV high school. That same summer of 2021 I started doing a few trainings with some close friends who were still in high school and really started to enjoy it. Since then, I have been a coach for USV high school for three years along with coaching an AAU team for my third year as well as I am now in my fourth year of doing basketball trainings. I thoroughly enjoy doing basketball trainings and plan on turning this into a large business one day with the help and trust from all of you, allowing me to work with your sons on the game we all share similar love for, so thank you very much.
Hello, my name is Drew Stephens. I graduated from Upper Scioto Valley High School in 2023 and I now attend Ohio Northern University pursuing a degree in clinical psychology. I was a four-year varsity letter winner in high school. My senior year I went on to win the NWCC Player of the year, Division IV district 8 second team, and also all-Ohio Honorable mention. Through my high school career, I was a versatile guard to small forward. I have decided to join Micah Cook in training young student athletes to help further them on and off the basketball court. I want to help train because of my love for basketball and it is a great way for me to stay around the sport and help the younger generation.
